OUR UMBRELLA ORGANIZATIONS
WHAT IS A STAY ALLIANCE?
A Stay Alliance is an umbrella organization for local social entrepreneurs and our organizations. As social entrepreneurs, we are highly motivated to fight poverty because we are rooted in our respective communities. We know what the true challenges are and have developed approaches that lift people sustainably out of poverty. We, social entrepreneurs, join forces in the Stay Alliance in order to build up our countries.
The Stay Alliance is reinforcing know-how exchange between the associated social entrepreneurs. Thereby we mutually increase the effectiveness of our work as well as its financial sustainability to ensure that projects create impact in the long run, as well.

„Latek Stay Alliance Uganda“ was registered as the first Stay Alliance in December 2016. In 2018 „Angaza Stay Alliance Kenya“ and „Kwigira Stay Alliance Rwanda“ were set up. Each social entrepreneur who becomes a member manages his own organization. Together we have developed a structure to regulate the responsibilities within our respective Stay Alliance.
In each Alliance, all decisions are taken locally in the general assembly, by the board of directors, in committees or by our staff.
